Specifically, the main activities will be:

Active scouting of start-ups and technological solutions for STEP and for Open Innovation projects;
• Analysis and evaluation of the technologies / products proposed by the various teams, comparing the solutions with emerging technological trends and market standards to define the true degree of innovation, with the support of technical experts in the sector;
• Active scouting of mentors and technology experts to be involved in the analysis of the solutions and business models proposed by the startups;
• Analysis of the degree of impact on the environment and the effective ability to scale on the international market;
• Ideation, management and promotion of technological projects with universities, non-profit organizations, schools and research centers;
• Active support in the management of the startup incubation and acceleration path: organization of mentoring sessions by the STEP team or sector specialist mentors;
• Writing, launching and promoting calls for start-ups and technological solutions for STEP and for Open Innovation projects;
• Design and support in the organization of physical and online events for scientific dissemination relating to environmental issues or for the promotion of start-ups in the STEP portfolio.

Specifically, the main activities will be:

• Extension of the network of industrial companies sensitive and interested in environmental issues;
• Creation, development and consolidation of a dense trust network of industrial relations;
• Sale of new innovative products / technologies, including in the prototype phase, in the green-tech field to new customers in Italy and abroad;
• Market analysis and study, identification of high potential targets, definition and implementation of commercial initiatives in order to acquire new industrial customers;
• In-depth analysis with the technical team and the startuppers of market feedback and indications of any adjustments in order to successfully propose the technologies to the market;
• Support to startups in defining the commercial strategy and development of the business model
• Activities of constant connection and matching between industrial customers and startups, interpreting and reporting the specific needs of the customer, in support of innovation and the right way of proposing to the market
• Identification of open innovation projects with industrial companies on environmental sustainability projects.
• Synchronize your activities and opportunities generated on the corporate CRM and of the respective startups

Requirements:

• Strong ethical sense, passion for the environment, and environmental sustainability policies
• Educational qualification: master’s degree
• Previous experience in the commercial field and specifically as a Business Developer operating in the green-tech sector
• Knowledge of market trends for emerging technologies and passion for technology
• Curiosities and in-depth studies of technological solutions

Specifically, the main activities will be:

• Analysis and evaluation of the technologies / products proposed by the startups, comparing the solutions with the emerging technological trends and market standards to define the true degree of innovation;
• Support the various startup teams in the creation of a strategic plan aimed at the creation and industrialization of the product;
• Support startups in the development plan of new products and in the implementation of new features by offering a methodological approach based on the one hand on its technical experience and on the other on the logic of the lean startup;
• Identify technological partners such as universities and technical consultants to respond with the right specific skills to the needs of the various teams;
• Based on the knowledge of the target market and its actual needs, guide the improvement of the product features by guiding the development plan of the various projects;
• Supporting the teams both in the development phase and in the practical construction of the solution up to the industrialization of the product;
• Through the support of industrial partners, guide the teams in the development of perfectly functioning products and technologies, using the right professionals for every need, or recommending the right business or technological support tools.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Phd in the technical field
• Excellent knowledge of new trends relating to emerging technologies
• Solid and proven experience in technology / innovation in the energy sector
• Concrete curiosity and in-depth studies of technological solutions, aptitude for testing and verifying technical contents
• Excellent ability to analyze and evaluate existing or emerging technologies
• Good knowledge of business tools
